Meditation Oasis
Role / UX/UI Designer
UX/UI Analysis and Redesign - Evaluation of the user experience of the Meditation Oasis website using different analysis methods and proposal of design solutions to optimize the user interface while demonstrating the process implemented

Design thinking framework
1. Discover
The benchmark allowed us to establish guidelines with an overall humanization of the content, as well as a more diligent prioritization.
2. Define
Thanks to: Content BreakDown, original and revised SiteMaps and UserFlow the new features could be determined
3. Design
The ideation objective was to optimize the website and its mobile version, while personalizing the experience, in particular through a quick questionnaire on needs.

My role
Implement a clearer, simpler, and more transparent tree structure that allows for higher conversion rates through weekly use of the site's products. In addition to this customer objective, research also shows that the ability to conduct personalized searches based on interest, thus reducing the click-through rate before obtaining a relevant result, is a competitively suggested avenue.

The proposal of a questionnaire at the first level offers the possibility of a personalized selection of the site upon opening
Userflow
Multiple resolutions to understand the variety of actions possible on the site

User testing
Participants of different ages and genders / Usability test + Task analysis + Semi-structured interviews
Goals
-
Determine understanding of the new navigation by interest via the start-up questionnaire
-
Evaluate the usability and ease of understanding of the different components and their content through the site experience
-
Evaluate the appreciation of the questionnaire redirecting users to the content they need
-
Test the ergonomics and hierarchy of the new design
Scenarios
-
To find out which selection suits you best today, we offer a quick questionnaire via the "Get Started" button on the homepage, click on it and consult the recommendations.
-
Choose the tab of your choice naming a status goal, check it out and try to purchase MP3 content.
-
There are articles and news about meditation available on the site, can you track them down?
Analysis
The negative points:
-
Specify the possibility of multiple selections of the questionnaire
-
Hero banners on interest pages are a barrier to content accessibility
-
The text hierarchy of the “Newsfeed” tab is incorrectly identified
The positive points:
-
Navigation is clearly understood
-
The labels are explicit
-
Sorting by interests is appreciated and justifiable
-
The overall ergonomics of the site are clear

Understanding the answer choices
The results:
Three out of five participants did not understand that they could click on several chips per question to analyze their profile. “I didn’t understand right away that you could click on several answers.”
The consequences:
Participants weren't fully enjoying the experience because they didn't know they could click on more chips at once. As a result, they were left hesitating when making their choice instead of simply clicking on all the options that applied to them.
