Role / UX/UI Designer, Art Director

My role
Conduct a UX analysis of the current product and the proposed improvements, based on qualitative research conducted with platform users. Integrate a redesigned interface centered on a simplified user journey to foster a sense of accomplishment among users through successful training completion. Revise content accessibility by focusing on smooth and clear navigation, while modernizing the platform's overall look.

The dashboard: the central navigation point has been redesigned to be the pivotal element for all actions essential to the program's success.

JOB TITLE: Communications Manager at an advertising agency
“I am looking for flexible and comprehensive professional support with a clear vision of my career path and progression to help me assert myself and climb the ladder within my industry.”

Goals
-
Navigating the platform easily allows you to focus solely on its content – learning and resource accessibility are paramount.
-
Expand your professional network while regularly tracking your progress and learning.
Frustrations
-
Navigating the sheer volume of information on training platforms is often a laborious process.
-
Accessibility for women as resource persons in the industry, as well as access to personal development resources, is difficult.
Anne is a communications manager at an advertising agency who lives in Montreal. She has recently taken on new responsibilities, and her leadership skills are being tested. She wants to develop her entrepreneurial skills and build a network of professional women, including female mentors, to enhance her leadership abilities. She wants to learn in a relaxed environment and have quick access to resource materials to guide her learning. A sense of accomplishment is her top priority.
Research findings
The platform includes qualitative product evaluation sections. These allowed us to identify the platform's strengths and weaknesses while specifying user expectations.
The hypothesis
If users like Anne can navigate the platform more easily through a more comprehensive and intuitive dashboard that allows them to learn, review, consult, and connect effortlessly during their online training, then they will be able to develop the skills sought after, such as leadership, in their respective industries. This, in turn, will enable women more broadly to access specialized training, empowering them to take a stand and gain greater visibility in these industries.
The objective
The women's leadership training platform must seamlessly support users through structured learning experiences built around simple and intuitive tools. This will allow them to learn, access information, and connect with peers. The aim is to directly impact their professional development by promoting accessible learning.
It will be possible to measure the effectiveness of the platform by consulting the number of registrations per training course and the user satisfaction rate.

Pain points
1. Product
There is a lack of tools to simplify navigation; this adds an extra layer of complexity and causes confusion
2. Support
The current platform does not explicitly explain how to contact technical support to answer their questions about content and navigation
3. Process
Access to information and mentoring for women is not optimal; the paths are sometimes too convoluted
